To take care of Licensing and Registration under Central Excise Act, Service Tax, State Excise under M&TP (ED), NDPS Act , State Excise ACT, Central Bureau of Narcotic Act, Explosives Act and Petroleum Act.

Ensure proper receipt, storage and issue of finished goods to market.
Maintain Finished Products Stores in accordance with the requirement of statutory regulation as under

Ensure required facilities for warehouse are created or made available.
Ensure the warehouse is modified / upgraded in tune with the changing requirements.
Ensure the staking and handling of products is done in proper manner.

Stocks of Narcotics Drugs and Alcohol.

Ensure approval from State Excise department for raw materials received and stocks issued to production as per indent.
Ensure transactions of finished goods are maintained as per M & TP, NDPS and State Excise Regulations.

Classification of the Products.

Ensure proper classification of the products for discharge of excise duty liability as per :Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 and M & TP (E.D) Act, 1955.
Ensure proper Classification of the intermediate goods used captively for production.
Ensure transactions of finished goods are maintained as per M & TP, NDPS and State Excise Regulations.
Ensure proper classification of the finished products manufactured at contract manufacturers for discharge of excise duty.
Ensure classification of items purchased, on which Cenvat is availed, is done in accordance with the law by the respective suppliers.
Arrange transport permit for state excise product after payment of duty from the authorities.

Maintaining and Advising the Various Schemes & Exemptions under Cental , State Act & Availing the Benifits .

Cenvat Scheme.
Ensure benefits of Cenvat scheme are availed on inputs and capital goods, which are eligible for the credit.
Ensure that the cenvated inputs and capital goods are used in accordance with the prescribed rules of the scheme.
Ensure that the cenvat credit availed on inputs and capital goods are used in accordance with the prescribed rules of the scheme.
Ensure that the contract manufacturers use the cenvated inputs in accordance with the prescribed rules of the scheme.
Ensure that the cenvated inputs and capital goods are sent for job are received back in accordance with the prescribed rules of the scheme.
Ensure that the unwanted cenvated inputs and capital goods are disposed off in accordance with the prescribed rules of the scheme.

Exemptions & Rebates.
Ensure benefits of exemptions granted by the government on inputs, finished products, intermediate goods etc., are fully availed.
Ensure conditions attached to such exemption schemes are complied with in accordance with the law, so that the benefits are not denied at a later date.
Check and ensure that availing such exemptions do not have any other implication of denying benefits available under different law.
